Happy birthday
I always miss my mother on my birthday. Her voice was always the first voice to wish me a happy birthday (or sometimes sing it to me) over the phone for many years before she died. I was thinking about this before I went to bed last night and in a dream I couldn't stop crying over her loss. Sometimes my dreams are that obvious.

coulda shoula woulda. this post is so sad, Mike. Everytime I see it I wanna sing the song, knowing it won't make it any better, maybe worse even.

Death sucks. It reminds me to make every day a great one. Your good fellowship helped me get through the death of my father and the almost loss of an eye 25 years ago and the death of an 18-year career a few years back.
