The Therese and Mike Show
Therese was kind enough to ask me to join her as she filled in for the ailing Tom Scharpling last night in The Best Show on WFMU slot. The auspicious debut of The Therese and Mike Show on Sept. 1 can be heard here (we also filled in on Oct. 13 and Oct. 20). The hijinks ensue after the very fine set of music that opens the show.

Great job Mike. I called in with a story about my first and second day of school. It was the only story I had that could be told on the air, most of my traumas run towards the toilet talk.

Great show Mike (and Therese!). I listened to it archived, otherwise I might have called. Normally I'm too intimidated to call during Tom's show...
As I listened, I actually thought that this topic could be done every week, and it would work in a perverse way. I'm sure people would call every week--not sure if that constitutes "working" when it comes to radio, but I'd listen!
